My work explores the relationship between art, material, and the passage of time.

I create contemporary artworks using specially formulated paints designed to oxidize naturally. Rust and bronze oxidation are an integral part of my artistic language, bringing depth, character, and unique nuances to each artwork.

I am fascinated by the idea that a painting can continue to transform after the artist has finished working on it. I create the composition and establish its direction, while allowing the natural oxidation process of the paint to introduce an element of unpredictability. This interaction between my artistic intention and the natural reaction of the material makes each artwork truly unique and impossible to reproduce exactly.

For me, oxidation represents much more than a simple visual effect. It evokes time, transformation, and the ephemeral nature of things. Colors evolve, surfaces transform, and textures gradually reveal themselves, giving each artwork its own identity and story.

I deliberately choose not to varnish my artworks in order to preserve the authentic character of the paint and allow its natural evolution to remain visible over time.
