Aleksandra Kostić D is a Serbian–Australian visual artist of Southeast European heritage, born in Belgrade in 1970 and based in Australia since 2012. Working across painting, drawing, installation, video, and mixed media, her practice is intuitive and process-driven.
Her work explores women’s inner lives, memory, and psychological states, shaped by migration and proximity to land. Through minimal and contemplative approaches, it invites reflection on transition, impermanence, and quiet transformation.
