Alexis Anvekar

Dr. Alexis Anvekar first picked up a palette knife during the COVID pandemic in 2020. The experiences she had with her patients, friends and family moved her to paint the grief, sadness, love and strength that weaved our community together like the fibers of a canvas. She has a very strong connection to community and the individuals creating our communities. During the pandemic, amazing feats of love and strength prevailed and left our communities stronger than ever. Dr. Anvekar tries to convey this strength in her thick, highly dimensional impasto style of painting.

Dr. Anvekar received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of California, San Diego. She received her Medical Doctorate at The University of Southern California Medical School and was recognized as one of the top 0.1% graduating seniors of the entire USC student body, both graduate and undergraduate students. She currently practices Integrative Medicine in Pasadena, CA and is double board certified in both Holistic and Integrative Medicine Boards. Dr. Anvekar approaches medicine with a whole person approach and feels that her dominant creative side is the key to diagnostic dilemmas.
