Alfons Fernandez Gregori

I started painting my first ‘frescoes’ at 10 years old. We lived on a farm on the outskirts of Sant Cugat de Vallès (Barcelona) Spain, and my father in his spare time painted in oil on the walls of the old house. Still lifes, landscapes, beautiful works that remained there as a witness that a discreet artist with an apprentice son passed through this place. For hours I have not stopped painting, always for individuals, friends and family intermittently.
Now in my sixties and retired, I have fallen in love again with the lights, shadows and colors of everything around me. However, I realize that today from my hands is born something more than in my youth I did not have, love, love at every stroke. Perhaps what was missing was living longer to see better, and with other mature eyes, the beauty of all creation and everything around me.
