Alfred Stoll

Alfred Stoll has been working in the visual arts since 2020, with a focus on digital art. Alfred works with new media and studies the influence of metamodernism on contemporary art. Using digital techniques such as Augmented and Virtual Reality, generative art, digital painting and drawing, and 3D modelling, Alfred creates digital collages and media installations that play with post-irony, sensuality, tenderness, and the grotesque. Alfred's works are passionately dedicated to depicting visions of the contemporary aesthetic context and reinterpreting traditional images of reality to change the rules of the social game. Alfred aims to define the artistic value and meaning of digital art today and to determine the role of the artist in shaping digital art in the future. In February 2023, Alfred published the "Metamodern Art Manifesto".
