Alia Albazei

I am a Saudi artist who focuses documenting life using paint and my paint brush. Art can have such a tremendous effect on our emotional well-being and I am really passionate about how art can uplift and inspire me. I started at an early age, as a child I couldn't express myself using words and actions, so drawing was my form of communication. Translating my thoughts and feelings through my drawings. As I went on with the process of drawing it made me more calm, knowing that I can express whatever I want through my paintings.
As years went by I developed my unique voice by creating things that helped me overcome many obstacles in my early years. As an adult, I am happily creating art pieces thats speaks to me, I used my paintings to tell a story in a way to highlight the power of creative expression and a transformation tool for healing.
When I create I am allowing myself to refocus my attention, highlighting the good while gently obscuring the negative that don't really serve me.
