Alida Spiranec-Sestan

Born in Croatia (ex Jugoslavia), living in Treviso, Italy.

Graduated in Fine Arts and Art Education at the University of Philosophy in Rijeka- Croatia.
Taught art education in middle school and art history in a high school.
In 1996 moved to Italy with the family.
Worked for two companies as a creative designer, decorator and visual artist.
From 2016 to the end of 2018 lived in Bulgaria.
On the return to Italy, in Treviso, focused fully to art, developing a personal style.
Recently taught a course of "Advanced and experimental techniques in painting" at the art studio” La bottega” of prof. Roberto Furlan, architect and art critic in Jesolo – Venice.
Currently collaborate with the Association Arteficiolinea of Ponzano Veneto teaching acrylic painting and realizing painting workshops.
My works are present in private collections in Croatia, Italy and Germany.

Graduated a four- years-program in Knowledge of Art at the Pedagocical Faculty in Rijeka (Croatia), specializing in painting.

-January-February 2020 : Solo exibition "My passion for art" at the restaurant "Alla Grotta" in Treviso.

-November 2019 exibition event "El hilo rojo" exhibition and artistic performances dedicated to women and femininity at the municipal headquarters of Ponzano Veneto (Tv)

-October2019 . partecipatione with five paintings at international events by the Accademy of European Arts at the hotel villa Marcello Giustinian in Mogliano Veneto/Venice.
- September 2019 Partecipation in the Mestre /Venice Price of painting with honourable mention.

-June 2019" Leonardo da Vinci prize" , collective international exibition at the castle of Roncade (TV)

-May 2019 personal exhibition "Iconic creatures"at the gallery of the italian culture in Rijeka (Croatia).

-April 2019 collective exhibition at the gallery" Artemente gallery" at Vicenza.

-March 2019 Solo exhibition at the gallery "42 don't panic" at Treviso.
