Alireza Sadr Mohammadi

I'm an abstract painter and mixed-media sculptor based in Kyrenia, Cyprus. Following an influential 30+ year international career in strategic communications, executive marketing leadership, and creative direction, I transitioned to a dedicated full-time studio practice.
​Working across raw canvas, wood panel, and salvaged materials, I investigate the fertile tension between deliberate structure and raw spontaneity. My tactile, layered compositions are heavily influenced by Mediterranean light and weathered architectural surfaces. Grounded in a philosophy of material metamorphosis and reclamation, I breathe new narrative life into discarded components through intuitive mark-making and bold spatial geometry.
