Alisa Cherkun Drukman

I am a professionally trained artist working at the intersection of emotional abstraction, nature-inspired imagery, and intuitive visual storytelling. Through my work, I explore inner transformation, emotional states, and the subtle connection between human sensitivity, nature, and the feeling of inner light.

I do not limit myself to one fixed style, as I see each series as a reflection of a particular life period, emotional movement, or inner experience. At different times, I may become fully immersed in abstraction, expressive color, natural forms, animals, or quiet emotional scenes.

Through my paintings, I seek to create a sense of warmth, softness, emotional depth, and living energy. I am deeply inspired by nature, inner transformation, contemplation, and the belief that art can reconnect people with sensitivity, sincerity, and inner harmony.

Combining academic foundations with a contemporary emotional visual language, I create works filled with atmosphere, movement, and personal experience.

My artistic journey began in early childhood through classical art training in Russia, where I attended both an art-focused school and a traditional art school. These early academic foundations shaped my understanding of composition, color, observation, and classical drawing techniques.

Later, I continued my studies in design, visual communication, and education, expanding my practice across both traditional and contemporary artistic disciplines. After moving to Israel at a young age, I pursued further studies at the University of Haifa within the Faculty of Arts, where I deepened my interest in contemporary art, visual language, and conceptual thinking.

Alongside fine art, I also studied graphic design, photography, and art education, which broadened my creative approach and strengthened my ability to work across different visual forms and techniques.

Today, my work combines academic foundations with an evolving contemporary artistic practice focused on emotion, transformation, atmosphere, and intuitive storytelling.
