Amanda Krahe

Amanda is a mixed-media artist and designer from East Hampton, New York. She attended East Hampton High School before moving to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned her BFA in Advertising and Digital Design in May 2025. During her time at FIT, she developed a diverse skill set in advertising, art direction, branding, graphic design, UX/UI design, and motion graphics.

A lifelong creator, Amanda was inspired after graduation to develop a collection of artwork reflecting the place she grew up. Under her brand, ÄK Mixed Media, she combines layers of local imagery, texture, and typography to celebrate the beauty and nostalgia of the East End. Creativity has always been central to who she is, whether through art, music, fashion, or film; her background in design gives her work a distinctive balance of strategy and artistic expression. Amanda continues to explore new ways to evolve as both an artist and designer.
