I like starting with the clean lines of Greek and Roman statuary, then pushing those forms - stretching, cropping, or layering them in paint, ink, and resin to help me work through and see society and my own body and beauty standards in different, more accepting ways. The unpredictable way form takes shape on the page reminds me that beauty has many forms. My work is about seeing the classical figure through a unique lens.
