Renowned for her seductive and colorful paintings, for American born Morgan, the human form is not about what is seen as a body; but rather evoking a journey from the audience that may have nothing to do with a figure at all. She focuses principally on the human form by use of a model and imaginative eye hand coordination.
In the first year that she has practiced as a full-time artist, Morgan has championed a solo-exhibition, participated in a live installation and various gallery events, created works for an up-scale restaurant in the heart of downtown Montreal, won finalist in Bombay Sapphire Artisan series and has numerous pieces with prestigious private collectors in Montreal. And that's just year one.
With her passionate scratching in line and corrupt blending, building, layering and color use, Morgan's depiction of the human body becomes a mystery conveying a raw simplicity but imaginative journey from those who choose to stare at it.
