Often drawing from his curiosity about the workings of the mind and the human psyche, Amit finds intrigue in the changing face of society and humankind at large. His interest in Zen and its teachings allow him to capture intense transient forces of nature and humans. Also a unique appreciation of the human form and what effect mind has on matter allow him to explore ideas at the juncture of matter and consciousness. His diverse cultural background has had a positive influence on his unique, bold style as an artist. Amit's current work explores the emotive ephemerality of humans and society.⁣

Amit captures subtle dichotomy in his acrylic paintings based on the concept of Tao or Metempsychosis. They are largely monochromatic with a limited palette and leaning towards contemporary sensibilities.⁣

His other series leans towards abstraction with forms from an inorganic and structured future intersecting with the organic dimensional constructs.
