My journey into art began quite unexpectedly when the renowned painter, Miss Tehmina, invited me to explore art with her at her own studio through an Art Fellowship granted by my college. Our sessions were held on weekdays, and this opportunity became my first real introduction to the world of art.

As part of the fellowship, I was encouraged to explore different art forms, particularly Eastern art traditions that had once inspired artists such as Van Gogh and Gauguin. What began as an opportunity soon became a deeply personal journey. Since then, I have continued to create paintings that bring together contemporary ideas and ancient wisdom.

Driven by an inner need to create, my original abstract and mixed-media paintings have been described as “simple yet uplifting.” When viewing my portfolio for the first time, one might easily believe that the works were created by several different artists. Textured abstract paintings, contemporary mixed-media works, spiritual paintings, and intricate, almost obsessive dot work are just some of the styles you will discover throughout my work.
