Amy Hooton, a Scottish abstract painter MA Fine Art (Hons) from Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art.

I live in Edinburgh, painting commissions and exhibit artwork around Scotland and beyond. My work has been as far as San Francisco and more recently toured UK Art Fairs with Art World Gallery based in Falmouth.

I specialise in drawing and painting exploring wet on wet painting techniques with acrylic ink and Watercolour mediums. I paint a huge range of styles and themes from Animals to Landscapes and abstract works along the way. Lively paintings that transport you to another world, away from the rain, cold and into beautiful fantastical worlds of colour, invoking sublime natural phenomenon, surreal landscapes, cosmic outer space and earthly watery coral worlds filled with colour and intricate detail you'll be unable to resist.
