Amy Penner is a self-taught painter who creates large acrylic paintings of everyday scenes, infused with bright color and a touch of whimsy. And she loves color. “I have always been inspired by the great masters of color; Henri Matisse, David Hockney, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. To me, color brings a painting to life” Her goal has always been to bring joy and color to living spaces, and to create iconic memorable scenes that keep the viewer coming back. Her studio is based in Ottawa, Canada, where she paints daily.
