I am a mother, pharmacist, dancer, and artist. I was initially inspired to pursue art as a hobby after a mixed media class taken in high school. Here is where I learned charcoal sketching technique for portraiture and pastels with acrylics. At the time, I was a professionalIy dancing and using it as a way to express myself, but when I was introduced to the world of mixed media, I fell in love and discovered a new form of expression. I, then, pushed myself to experiment with paints, acrylic and oil.
I enjoy painting scenes that have warm tones or color pop. I hope that when you see my art, you feel a place of belonging and calm within the storm of our current weather, political, and social climate.
My main purpose is to bring a sense of stillness to the viewer in which they can simply take a breath and pause, and ultimately, change the ambiance of a room/one's mood.
