Ana Tamara

Ana Milena Tamara is a Colombian-born American artist, interior designer specialized in architecture and educator whose art has been exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide.
She has received several awards from the Gateway International Competition, Light, Space & Time Competition, City of Miami, South Miami and Aventura in Florida, selected by juror David H. Reuss for the “Juried Fine Art Exhibit 2015” at the Mills Pond House Gallery in Long Island, New York, selected finalist in “The Sedona Art Prize International Painting Competition” by judge Kathryn Stats. Her work has been published in magazines and newspapers and she has been interviewed in TV cultural programs.
Tamara graduated with honors from Universidad Autonoma in Colombia as an interior designer / architect and worked as a professor at her alma mater while teaching private art classes at her studio, and doing commissioned art.
In 1994 Tamara moved to Miami, Florida in the United States where she focused experimenting with new ideas and materials while exhibiting. During that time, she continued her education by assisting to Hernan Miranda atelier in Miami.
