Anatoly Kligler

Self taught, I began drawing at a young age, which eventually lead to a major in graphic design at Rutgers Camden School of Arts and Sciences. In 2014, I transitioned to painting. Consistently selling through commissions, galleries, and fairs - I haven't looked back since. Now I'm lucky to say that I'm making a living as an artist in NYC.

My aesthetic is classical figurative painting with a contemporary twist. Straying away from any realism, instead, focusing on expressive and loose brush strokes. Often transfixed by bygone eras, subjects are often derived from the golden era of Hollywood, tragedy stricken musicians, and retro scenes... or just milkshakes.
