I divide my art into three kinds of work.
The first comes from simple joy — what I see, I paint: a blooming flower, a hill view, even my breakfast.
The second grows from what words cannot express — my deep thoughts and emotions transformed into color and form.
The third are commissioned pieces, created in collaboration with others’ ideas.
I was born and raised in Russia, where painting was once seen as a hobby rather than a calling. The events of recent years have profoundly changed my life — I spent two years in Thailand, where I rediscovered myself through oil and watercolor. Painting became my way to heal, to focus, and to breathe.
Now I live in a small picturesque village in Luxembourg, surrounded by nature and silence. When I paint, I fully immerse myself in the process, and the real world’s worries fade away, if only for a while.
Through my art, I share both peace and turmoil — everything that cannot be said in words.
