Angela Francis

Angela Francis (b. Ottawa, 1982) is a Canadian-Caribbean professional visual artist, working out of Oshawa, Ontario. Her art expresses women's empowerment through figurative paintings in acrylics and oils on canvas, with bright colors and fluid shapes.

Blending cultural influences with bold expressions, her art captivates and sparks dialogue. With a passion for storytelling through color and form, she brings a unique perspective to contemporary art, celebrating her roots with texture while pushing creative boundaries. She channels a rich tapestry of lived experiences—both inherited and encountered—that reflect the vibrancy and complexity of her identity. In doing so, she invites viewers into a world where heritage is explored, languages converge, and art becomes a vessel for cultural fusion.
