Anjelika Fomicheva

Angelika is a fine artist based in Greece with over 40 years of artistic practice and an international background shaped by life and work in several European countries.

While she is well known for her vibrant and luminous paintings inspired by the landscapes of Greece, a more intimate and rarely shown part of her artistic practice is devoted to drawing. For many years, these ink and pen works remained a private, studio-centered body of work, created outside of any commercial context.

In these detailed narrative drawings, Angelika builds complex imaginary worlds where surreal, poetic, and symbolic elements intertwine. Her graphic works unfold slowly, inviting the viewer into contemplative spaces filled with characters, hidden stories, and quiet inner journeys.

Today, alongside her painting practice, she is beginning to share this graphic universe with a wider audience, revealing a deeper and more personal layer of her artistic world.
