I grew up in Bulgaria and studied ballet behind the Iron Curtain. I arrived in the United States a few months after the Wall came down, and continued to perform on stage for many years.
Photography and the visual arts came to capture my interest after many years of dancing professionally.
While ballet remains my first love, I also like to dance with my pictures. Although ballet performances are ethereal moments in time, photography and digital collages allow me to capture that moment forever.
