Anindita Dasgupta

I am a visual Artist with a twenty one years history of working in the information technology and services industry.
Art for me was an immense love while growing up. However, life took me to a whole different path and into different careers for over two decades, but then I finally found an opportunity to call the same love a profession and I began painting again. I am particularly in love with the ‘Post Impressionistic’ era artists and their work.

My art shows the Earth’s natural beauty in it’s metaphysical form. I create art that is organic, abstract, expressionistic and intuitive. Each piece is a synchronization between a real and surreal space. You will find vivid and kaleidoscopic colors and shifting perspectives on each of these works. I work in Oils and acrylics. I use a lot of motifs and patterns to show a representational landscape in an unorthodox way, balancing both uniquely to create an augmented vista.

I try to envision the landscapes I have seen and start a painting with a random color palette and then my subconscious mind takes me on the journey of creating my own interpretation of those landscapes. • One of my works was selected at a juried show by The 500x gallery, The show starts on Dec 10th 2022.

• Was invited to be a part of a first group all women Art show at the DHV gallery by Deborah Hartigan Viestenz

• Two of my pieces was recently chosen for the New Texas talent XXIX, held at and by Craigheadgreen gallery in the Dragon Street Dallas TX in July 2022

• Two of my Digital ?floral pieces were chosen to be published in the 2022 edition of the Art Folio Magazine.

• My art was selected by Taos Art council, New Mexico and is now displayed as a Lamppost banner in
downtown Taos. In May 2022

• Collaborated and organized an Art show with 6 other artists at the Gallery Blue House Too in Allen Texas in October 2021.


• My works were selected and displayed for the 3rd quarter of 2021 at the Office of the Mayor of Frisco TX

• I have displayed and sold my art with Fort Worth community Arts center in 2020. ...
