Everything around me can become a source of inspiration, but theatre has always been one of the most important influences on my artistic journey.

My creative path began in the theatre, where I became fascinated not only by the stage itself, but above all by the people who inhabited it. Their emotions, gestures, presence, and inner worlds became a lasting source of inspiration for my work.

This fascination is reflected in my work through intense colour, expressive forms, and a dialogue between figuration and abstraction. I explore the complexity of human emotions and moods, focusing on what we experience but cannot always express in words. I work primarily in series, with each series developing around a distinct emotional or symbolic theme, often rooted in human experience, and allowing me to explore each theme in depth.

My paintings are created intuitively. Forms, symbols, and colours emerge in response to the emotions and ideas I want to convey. I am interested in the space between the visible and the unseen, between the physical presence of the human figure and the emotional world that lies beneath its surface.

Anna Bocek has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Europe, the USA, and Taiwan. Her works have been presented in galleries and at international art fairs, including ART KARLSRUHE, CONTEXT Art Miami, Affordable Art Fair London and Brussels, A.R.T. Revolution Taipei, STROKE Art Fair Munich, and MASTER EXPO RAI Amsterdam.

Her paintings have been shown in Poland, Germany, the USA, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, France, the UK, Italy, Austria, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Taiwan.
