Anna Deluna

I’m a professional photographer based in Moscow and in New York City. I was born in 1989 in Moscow and traveled a lot throughout my childhood due to my dad’s job. Thus I ended up in NY where I went to college. After that I returned to Russia but I move back and forth between Moscow and New York.

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved fairy tales. I love the colors, the magic and the contrast that you usually get in them. I think that everything unusual and surreal has always been my main inspiration. While I was in college I realized that I can follow my passion for fairy tales and create my own worlds through photography. In all of my projects I try to create some story or follow some specific concept.

I love working on long term projects because I feel that I learn so much more about photography and myself through my creative process. My work centers on a fusion of colors and contrasts, interweaving surreal fairy tales and science fiction motifs.
