Anna Levit

I am 49 years old, and I am a self-taught artist. I started painting at the age of 44 and today, I have my own studio.
My paintings are a reflection of my own or my clients' imagination. I transcribe thoughts, visions, & ultimately inner soul to canvas.
My drawing style is universal.
I am rather curious by my nature and I like trying and learning most the drawing techniques.
I love drawing portraits, abstract, fluid art, volumetric painting, etc.
I paint with oil, acrylic, and watercolors.
My purpose is to create an individualized masterpiece that will bring each of you comfort, joy, & happiness.

I always dreamt of drawing and, as it happens a lot, I never had time for it. I was waiting for inspiration...
At the age of 44 I understood that the Inspiration would never come if I wouldn't do something to "invite" it.
Exactly in this period of my life my friend asked me to paint some painting for her living room. That was my first large oil painting. I just bought canvas, oil colors and started the painting. After I finished this painting (which is still on the wall of the living room of my friend)
I never stopp drawing. I do it every day including weekends. My life has changed a lot since then.
Four years after my first painting Istill go on working on my technique and learning, I have my own studio, I sell my paintings and I'm planning to make painting my main occupation.
And there is something else... I have some peculiarity in my eyes, I do not know how to see the perspective. I don't mean perspective in a drawing, but perspective in my everyday life.
Periodically, I have very unpleasant moments because of it. And only thanks to drawing I learned to live in a peace with this peculiarity and my inner and outter worlds became more friendly to me.

There some of my paintings are in private collections. Most of them are in Israel.
Some of my paintings were sold to private collections in USA and Russia.
