Annaly Keane

I'm a Paris based English multidisciplinary artist and designer. I have spent the last four years working along side the Parisian luxury bridal designer Delphine Manivet.

The Granddaughter of Welsh landscape artist Own Thomas, renowned in his home country for his moody Turneresque seascapes of the Aberystwyth coast, I was surrounded by beautiful original works form a young age. My first exhibition was along side my grandfathers works in a generational exhibition retrospective. Three generations of my family displayed work. At the time I was only a budding artist, I was no more than 10 at the time !

Along side maintaining my skills in landscape oil painting, mainly using impressionist styling, I'm currently experimenting with new multi-disciplinary pieces. Using primarily print, and textile and I am also strongly influenced by environmental issues and have been inspired recently to create low impact pieces. I am experimenting with natural fibre fabrics and hand dying techniques using plants, vegetables and spices to produce landscapes pieces, and clothing.
