Anna McNeil is a British painter living and working between Barcelona and London.
Her work originates in lived experience and explores relationships; themes of intimacy, communication, identity, and implicit memory.
Sourcing from mnemonic imagery and found visual resources, she plays with both figurative and abstract language and employs the power of suggestion to engage the viewer in a dialogue with the painting.
