Anna Privaloff

Anna Privaloff was born in 1976 in the USSR into a family of Jewish doctors. She currently lives and works in Cyprus. She began painting at the age of four, developing a lifelong passion for art that has shaped her distinctive artistic voice.

Her artistic practice is deeply inspired by the symbolism of Vrubel and Klimt, the Post-Impressionist works of van Gogh, Gauguin, and Toulouse-Lautrec, as well as the Expressionists and Impressionists Egon Schiele, Oskar Kokoschka, Edvard Munch, and Kees van Dongen.

Her works have been exhibited in both private and public exhibitions across Cyprus, Russia, and Italy, including the St. Petersburg Union of Artists (Artists' House) and the Fine Arts Museum in her hometown of Ivanovo.

Between 2016 and 2018, she held solo exhibitions at the Morfi and Thiseas Art Galleries, the Art Innovation Gallery in Limassol, and Tenuta Lamborghini in Panicarola, Italy.

Today, her paintings and portraits are held in private collections around the world, including the United States, Russia, Australia, Israel, Austria, England, Germany, Greece, and Cyprus. Her collectors include members of the Trump family, Robert Rothschild, Robert S. Rockefeller, Nicos Anastasiades and Tassos Papadopoullos, former Presidents...

Anna Privaloff received her academic training in fine arts in Russia. She graduated in 1996 from the Department of Painting and Pedagogy at the M.I. Malyutin Ivanovo Art College in Ivanovo. She later continued her education at the A.I. Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia in St. Petersburg, earning her qualification as an Art Educator in 2001.

Anna Privaloff's work has been exhibited in private and public exhibitions in Cyprus, Russia, and Italy, including the St. Petersburg House of Art and the Art Museum in her hometown of Ivanovo. Since 2016, she has presented seven solo exhibitions across Cyprus at venues including Thiseas Gallery, Morfi Gallery, Dimitris Solomos Cultural Centre, Strovolos Municipality Hall, the Indian Cultural Centre, Kolossi Castle, and the Nicosia Dramatic Theatre. Her notable solo exhibitions include "Annadyomeni" (2017), "Life" (2018), and "From Baroque to Romanticism" (2024). Anna has also participated in numerous group, charity, and special exhibitions, including "Make Art, Not War" organized by the German Embassy in Cyprus, PASYKAF Charity Exhibitions, the International Charity Art Auction in Manila, Philippines, and a variety of collaborative art projects and cultural events in Cyprus.
