Ann Chisholm

My work uses signs, symbols, patterns, words, and numbers to create a narrative. Much of my work is about communicating and how we understand and interpret meaning. I use ciphers and text to convey an idea. My favorite cipher is the Utopian alphabet. I present an idea, the meaning of which is there to be deciphered but presented in such a way that it is open to individual interpretation.
