Using the talent and brushes that I inherited from my grandmother, Miyako Koinuma, I create landscapes, seascapes, and skyscapes (I may have made that word up). I love to explore how the fluidity and freedom of watercolor mimics the organic mixture of hidden lights and colors in nature.
