Anne Garvey

In recent years I have exhibited with groups in Dublin,Carlow, and Graiguenamanagh, Ireland. For a number of years I was only free to paint part-time as I had a full-time lecturing position. Fortunately, I can now devote all of time to painting, and it is wonderful.My interest is in energy and movement, though images, such as water and roads.
In 2010 I had my first solo exhibition at the library centre in Tullow, Co. Carlow. Each year, including this year, I exhibit in a group show at Terenure College, Dublin 6w. This year the show is 6th -8th May, 2011.
Currently I am a member of a group of artists Valley Art Group'. We exhibit three times a year in Carlow, Ireland.
