Anne Higman

This collective of drawings by Anne Higman to show her experience, emotions and memories, suffering with chronic pain she constantly attempts to reveal this ongoing trauma through the simplest of medias, using pen on paper the majority of the time it is easy for her to rapidly jot down the vaguest of memories and the most vivid of physical feeling.
As this time has developed she has nurtured a style and made it her own; usually working in a sculptural format she has found this process of drawing quite daunting but it has allowed her in some cases to find the more humorous side to this stage in her life and has become somewhat of a therapy.
