About Annique Delphine
SLEEK Magazine: "Multi-disciplinary artist Annique Delphine is making serious waves in her hometown of Berlin at the moment. Her recent solo show “Reclaim the Feminine” featuring her ongoing series “Objectify Me” was a huge hit – the humorous yet serious approach to questioning the boundaries female artists must break through to express themselves well received by her audience. Delphine’s work promotes female sexuality and aims to avert from the male gaze, something that she states is “always intuitive rather than premeditated”." Annique Delphine was born in 1979 in Wiesbaden. After a career as a fashion model and actress she studied with Meeno Peluce in Los Angeles, and then at Neue Schule Für Fotografie in Berlin (2008-11). She devoted herself full time to fine art photography and film-making after a period as a music and fashion photographer She has exhibited widely since 2015 including in Detroit, Los Angeles, New York and London. Her films have been selected and awarded by numerous international Film Festivals including the Verona International Film Festival and the Toronto Arthouse Film Festival.
