Ann Timmermans

Ann Timmermans is a Belgian artist who has been painting from an early age. She experiments with several media.
Among her pieces are oil paintings, murals, photographs, prints, acrylic paintings, drawings, collages, street art, video and sound art, landscape art, installations and sculptures.
She's also an author of books and articles on art, psychology, culture and philosophy.
At the age of fourteen the artist started painting in oil paint on wood. At that time she also created many murals. Her artwork was colourful and bright.Later on, she concentrated on graphics, oil paintings on canvases and sculptures.
She made an entire collection of black and white acrylic and oil paintings on canvas. The artist has always been fascinated by black and white in every way.

Her oeuvre consists of over 200 pieces.

Recurring subjects or themes are subcultures, philosophy, morality, feminism, language and reflections.
