Andrew Proudlove

I’m an Englishman that got lost while travelling around the world and found a home in Beroun in the Czech Republic.

I enjoy photography and creating art. I shoot landscapes and sometimes people. Sometimes I drift off into the surreal or the realm of fantasy, creating images that exist only in our imaginations and at times I return to reality, capturing the scene and its emotion as it unfolds before me.

I also produce images for book covers for Arcangel Images and I have had the good fortune to have my work featured in exhibitions in Europe and America.

Besides photography, I’m a husband and father of three beautiful children, two girls and a boy, who it seems are growing up much too fast. I also enjoy cycling but more for fun and some exercise than as something that I am passionate about, it is a great way to clear your head. I’ve also been known to get lost in a book quite easily and will read pretty much anything, except for romance novels.

Usually on weekends I try to get out and photograph, sometimes I take my eldest daughter with me as she also quite enjoys photographing things as well, so together we explore the countryside and see what we can find.
