Growing up as the daughter of two original Disney Imagineers, it’s no surprise that Arden was drawn to a career in visual art. Her artistic journey began with experimenting in watercolors and holograms, but Arden eventually found her creative home in the place where photography and technology intersect. She has been awarded 16 patents for innovative design during her years working for Technicolor and other entertainment technology companies as an award-winning user experience designer.

Arden’s true love has always been photography. In her creative process, Arden seeks to blur the line between photography and painting, resulting in dreamlike images. Her technique requires patience, an intuitive sense of composition, and the ability to manipulate light to capture her subject.

Arden’s celebrity, fashion, and architectural photography has been published in Architectural Digest, the New York and Los Angeles Times, and exhibited at the Pacific Design Center and the London Underground. She has photographed Radiohead, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Paul McCartney, Morrisey, Joss Stone and been the second photographer on shoots with Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Tom Ford, David Hockney, Mel Gibson, and the cast of the Twilight films.
