Arian Morera Velázquez has been passionate about art since childhood, dedicating most of her professional life to it. Painting has always been her centre — a constant, personal territory to which she returns time and again.

For Morera, painting is both a creative refuge and a space of quiet reflection. Her work is not only about representing images, but about evoking atmospheres — moments suspended in time where imagination flows and the viewer is invited into a silent, intimate dialogue.

Working mainly with oil on canvas, her process is slow and intuitive, often building layered compositions that explore memory, nature, and the subconscious. Each brushstroke becomes a way to connect with something intangible yet deeply familiar — offering space for pause, contemplation, and emotional resonance beyond words.

Recurring motifs such as gestural outlines, botanical forms, and symbolic textures evoke both fragility and resilience. Her visual language is poetic and sensitive, inspired by artists like Leonora Carrington, Remedios Varo, and others working at the intersection of surrealism and lyrical abstraction.
