Arris Grace Hodge

As an oil painter, my first love is classical work; however, I am also drawn to the expressive nature of Impressionism and Tonalism. I find that my old masters techniques work well in those genres. As for inspiration, it is everywhere in this miraculous world of ours. Awareness of the beauty that exists in our world is essential to what makes us human. My goal is to capture some of the fleeting emotion evoked by that awareness.
