Zebiniso Sharipova

My name is Zebiniso Sharipova and I am a contemporary Uzbek artist and portrait painter born in 1967 in the Bukhara region of Uzbekistan.

My artistic journey began with formal studies at the Bukhara Music and Art College named after Mukhtar Ashrafi and continued at the Tashkent Theatrical and Art Institute named after A. N. Ostrovsky. Throughout my career, I have explored the intersection of Eastern cultural heritage and European painting traditions.

The central theme of my work is often the image of the Eastern woman, expressed through symbolism, emotion, and a romantic visual language. Many of my paintings are inspired by personal reflections, spirituality, and the rich cultural history of Central Asia.

I have participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, and my works are held in private collections in different countries. Through my art, I seek to create a dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression, inviting viewers into a world of beauty, imagination, and inner contemplation.
