ANIMALITY®

A small ménagerie of collected objects from the last 5 years. Picking them out of their original habitats; a rocky cala on the Catalonia coast, an after-stormy beach in Greece and narrowly missing stepping on them while out walking, I was immediately and literally gripped by the presence of the objects and their animal quality. When does animal become mineral, when does vegetable transform to animal? ‘Animality’ therefore continues the game, coming alive, and or, becoming fossilised through the camera eye.
