When we moved to live in the city of Trier, I went with a sketchbook and drew from nature new to me views of this old European city. Using these sketches and photos, I created a collection of paintings in the same format 60-80 cm acrylic on canvas. I wanted to keep the lightness and liveliness of a water- color sketch on canvas in a large format.
