Fawaz Rob Prints

A brief portfolio of Fawaz Rob's printmaking . This collection includes etching, aquatint, woodcut and linocut. Fawaz Rob creates a surreal and yet utopian world of Bangladesh. Each of prints is like a short story. Like Norman Rockwell, his prints are a ‘paused’ scene of life. Enter his utopian world and you embark on a journey through cityscapes, people, everyday objects, unnoticed life and undetected architecture. There is unknown pretty in his urban etchings. They are stark, dramatic and cheerful, recalling Martin Lewis’ early twentieth century New York life…simple joy of living in everyday stories.
