Figurative Sculture
Miguel Ángel Martín Sánchez. Contemporary Spanish sculptor. Born on the Canary Islands La Palma (1959).
He based his works of art on Renaissance and the figurative Counter Religious Reform sculpture. Of special interest in the latter sculptures has been the image of clothing which, stripped of clothes, presents a strange combination of iconical elements, typical of Christian iconography, with other purely tectonic and supporting elements that usually are hidden.
