In Transit- New Zealand

A current series of artworks taken from the experience of exploring places in New Zealand and other places, that demonstrate my interest in the formal elements of composition: structure, perspective, shape and light. Places of transit, such as airports, railway stations, roads and bridges, as well as well as interiors- anything that I find visually stimulating, all form the basis of my work. I enjoy finding beauty in the ordinary, portraying locations only through the essence of painting.
