I thought about this serie when I found myself living in Istanbul. A magic and crowded city where you may lost your connection with nature. This piece exalts the figure of Caspar David Friedrich and Romanticism. I like to do this kind of works time to time. It is a part of my learning about the image and my evolution as a painter. If painting would be an alphabet, the knowledge of this series is a letter to me. The landscape as an excuse to find back yourself in a big city.
