Salt Life

Summer, sand, surf, fresh air and beautiful sunshine loving people everywhere. This is summer eternal - the paradise of being a child in the happiest place at the happiest time of year. These paintings were inspired by the white sands of the Gulf Coast and 30A and St. George Island where my visual senses come alive. Beautiful skin glistening in the sun, skirting and flirting with the ocean and the pool. I tried to capture all the joy and beauty I feel in summer. My brush strokes on this are quick and decisive. The colors are light and stylish and evoke a happy, innocent and playful time.
