The Creation

This collection is a cycle of etchings, called „die Schöpfung“ (German for „the creation“). The topic of the cycle deals with the narration of creation in Genesis. Technique: This etching is made in a dry point process, printed in the manner of copperplate printing. The printing is done with copperplate printing colors by a hand printing press on hand-made paper. The processing is finished with colors, which are applied by paintbrush. Every etching print is made individually by hand. Therefore every etching print is a unique artwork and differs from the other (and in some details from the displayed picture)
