Abstracts

I transitioned over from painting florals and landscapes to abstracts about five years ago. I have found that 1) abstracts are more fun to paint and 2) they are easier and quicker to knock out. What attracts me about abstract paintings is that the viewer can interpret whatever he or she sees, instead of focusing on what the artist sees. I am continuing painting abstracts and am now introducing other mediums to the abstract experience. I hope you enjoy these abstracts as much as I have enjoyed painting them.
